First of all, hello. I am Dilan Ergün, born and raised in Şırnak. I live with my family in a small village in Şırnak. I started high school in the center 5 years ago. I studied high school for 5 years, 1 year of preparation, and just graduated. I am 19 years old now.
There are very few institutions, organizations or business people in our region that provide financial and moral support to women's football. Women footballers in this region have too many problems to count. For example, the pressure of the family, the pressure of the society, the pressure of the world of imagination he lives in, the pressure to envy the past...
The team was founded in 2018. I can say that we survive with the efforts of our teacher Osman, who founded the team, took part in other women's teams before and still continues his duty, heads the club, teaches the team, and is a materialist when necessary. In addition, Çiğdem, who is the female teacher of the team and has joined us for the last 1 year, has a lot of efforts.
My teachers make me play in the striker, my best position. I don't have the opportunity to work extra hard to be one of the best in Turkey. As the schools are closed, I go to work to support my family in the West as a seasonal worker, as I do every year during the 3-month summer holiday. I can only continue my training during the school process. So I don't have the opportunity to do extra training.
Local people have no support and interest in women's football. We understand this from the fact that they prevent even the girl who is interested in women's football from opposing and participating. With the unchanging mentality and the ongoing state of herd psychology, there are countless examples such as a girl cannot wear shorts or play football. As they prevent this, they do not have any financial or moral support in any way.
For our infrastructure, our teachers are fighting hard to bring in girls who are interested in football, both in schools and at collective events. We, on the other hand, try to be friendly and sincere so that the newcomer feels comfortable.
Play, of course. As soon as I feel that ball in my foot, I'm the only one on the field for me.
Of course, my motivation source in the matches is grass cheese, which is indispensable for our region. The moment I eat, I feel fresh, strong and good all day long. I am usually not a person who gets angry quickly during the game, but I can control myself when I get angry. I do not disturb my concentration, but at the end of the game, we can easily find a solution by sharing all the problems and troubles with those around me.
TFF also needs to give this region the opportunities given to men's football or big teams or cities that are popular. Both in terms of installation, material and materials. We want ASKFs to be our news channel. In other words, it should help us to make our voice heard by the higher authorities and the material and moral support given to the men's teams should be equal.
